Senior Financial Analyst

The Opportunity

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will occupy a key position within our finance function. Your analytical expertise will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making at executive level. You'll have the opportunity to work with sophisticated financial data, develop robust analytical frameworks, and influence the financial direction of Prime System Solutions. Your Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses across departmental budgets and business units
• Build and maintain financial forecasting models to support strategic planning
• Perform variance analysis and investigate significant deviations from budget
• Prepare detailed financial reports and executive summaries for senior management review
• Analyse financial statements, accounting records and operational metrics to identify trends
• Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles with reliable financial data
• Review financial controls and recommend process improvements to strengthen accuracy
• Liaise with operational teams to gather financial information and resolve data issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in financial analysis or financial planning
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas and data visualisation
• Strong working knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
• Demonstrated analytical capability and attention to detail in financial matters
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences
• Proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions
• Professional qualifications such as CIMA, CPA or ACCA would be advantageous
