Medical City Healthcare is hiring a part-time Respiratory Therapist for the NICU at Medical City Alliance in Haslet, Tarrant County, to deliver expert respiratory care to our most fragile newborn and infant patients.
About the Role
As a NICU Respiratory Therapist with Medical City Healthcare, you will become an essential member of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Haslet, supporting neonates and infants who depend on advanced respiratory intervention. Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory therapy and life-support care to neonatal and infant patients within the NICU.
- Assess each patient's respiratory status and adjust treatment in coordination with neonatologists and the bedside care team.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot ventilators and related respiratory equipment used in neonatal intensive care.
- Document patient progress accurately and respond quickly to changes in condition.
- Uphold the safety, infection-control, and quality standards expected of a leading neonatal facility.
Qualifications
- Credentialed Respiratory Therapist eligible to practice in Texas.
- Clinical experience in respiratory care, with a strong interest in or background supporting neonatal and infant patients.
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the composure to perform in an intensive care setting.
- A compassionate, team-oriented approach to patient and family care.
- Availability to work a part-time schedule on-site in Haslet, Tarrant County (this role is not remote).
