About This Position

This role involves working with complex refrigeration equipment used in commercial settings such as supermarkets, restaurants, and industrial facilities. As a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you will ensure that these systems operate efficiently and safely. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance tasks, and installing new equipment.

Your Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions in commercial refrigeration units.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent system failures.
• Install new refrigeration systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Repair and replace faulty components in existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding refrigerant handling and disposal.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid certification as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in commercial refrigeration repair and installation is highly valued.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
