About the Role
As an Experienced Audit and Assurance Associate, you will take on meaningful responsibility in managing client engagements and providing thorough audit and assurance services. You'll work closely with senior auditors to strengthen our clients' financial operations while ensuring they meet all compliance requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
What You'll Do
- Oversee audit engagements from planning through completion, coordinating with clients and internal team members
- Perform comprehensive audit procedures, testing controls and transactions to verify financial statement accuracy
- Ensure all audit work meets applicable standards and firm quality requirements
- Prepare detailed audit documentation and develop clear, professional reports for clients
- Identify improvements to client financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations in a way clients understand and can act on
- Support compliance initiatives and help clients navigate regulatory requirements
What We're Looking For
- Significant professional experience in audit and assurance engagements
- Solid understanding of audit standards, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication abilities with both clients and team members
- Professional approach to client service and engagement management
- CPA certification or demonstrated progress toward CPA credentials preferred
