HR Operations Intern

PolicyStreet is seeking a motivated HR Operations Intern to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a full-time opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources operations and contribute to our growing organisation.

The Opportunity

As an HR Operations Intern at PolicyStreet, you'll work within our HR department to support the smooth functioning of day-to-day human resources activities. This role offers genuine insight into how organisations manage people, processes, and systems at scale. You'll have the chance to develop practical skills in HR administration, employee engagement, and operational management while working alongside experienced HR professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and record management
• Support the coordination of HR events, training sessions, and team activities
• Maintain HR databases and ensure accuracy of employee information
• Help prepare HR documentation, policies, and communications
• Provide administrative support for recruitment and hiring processes
• Assist with payroll coordination and benefits administration
• Support HR compliance and audit activities as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving workplace
• Basic understanding of HR functions and employment law is an advantage
