Recruiter (Sales, Insurance)

PolicyStreet is seeking a Recruiter (Sales, Insurance) based in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for building high-performing sales teams within the insurance sector by identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent.

The Recruiter (Sales, Insurance) position at PolicyStreet is central to our growth strategy. You'll work across the entire recruitment lifecycle, from understanding our sales department's evolving needs to onboarding successful candidates. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on PolicyStreet's ability to compete and succeed in the Malaysian insurance market. You'll collaborate closely with hiring managers, contribute to employer branding efforts, and develop deep expertise in sales hiring within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for insurance sales positions, using a mix of recruitment channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks
• Manage full-cycle recruitment from job requisition through offer and onboarding, ensuring timely and quality hires
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future sales vacancies
• Conduct background checks, verify credentials, and coordinate reference checks with candidates
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, cultural fit, and performance expectations
• Track and report on recruitment metrics, time-to-hire, and candidate experience feedback
• Contribute to building PolicyStreet's reputation as an employer of choice in Kuala Lumpur and the insurance sector

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within sales or the insurance industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
• Knowledge of the insurance sales function and market in Malaysia
• Organised approach to managing multiple vacancies and recruitment timelines simultaneously
• Ability to identify and assess cultural fit and sales aptitude in candidates
• Commitment to ethical recruitment practices and inclusive hiring
