About the Role
As Partnership Manager at PolicyStreet, you will serve as the strategic bridge between our organisation and key business partners, particularly those operating in Mandarin-speaking markets. Your role combines business development acumen with relationship management expertise, enabling you to identify partnership opportunities, structure mutually beneficial deals, and nurture long-term collaborations that deliver value to all parties. Your fluency in Mandarin Chinese will be critical in building trust and facilitating seamless communication with partners across the region.
Core Duties
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnership opportunities that align with PolicyStreet's growth objectives
- Develop compelling partnership proposals and present business cases to prospective partners and senior leadership
- Negotiate partnership agreements, terms, and commercial arrangements to secure favourable outcomes
- Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing partners across diverse markets
- Serve as the primary liaison between PolicyStreet teams and Mandarin-speaking partners, ensuring clear communication and cultural alignment
- Track partnership performance against agreed metrics and deliver regular reporting to management stakeholders
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to support partnership delivery and maximise joint value creation
- Explore emerging opportunities in new markets and channels to accelerate expansion through alliances
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written) and professional English proficiency
- Minimum 3 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or similar commercial roles
- Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and closing high-value partnerships
- Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities
- Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate partnership opportunities objectively
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Self-motivated with capacity to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
- Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or financial services is advantageous
