Partnership Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

PolicyStreet, a leading innovator in financial services, is recruiting a Partnership Manager (Mandarin Speaker) to join our expanding team based in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. About the Role

As Partnership Manager at PolicyStreet, you will serve as the strategic bridge between our organisation and key business partners, particularly those operating in Mandarin-speaking markets. Your role combines business development acumen with relationship management expertise, enabling you to identify partnership opportunities, structure mutually beneficial deals, and nurture long-term collaborations that deliver value to all parties. Your fluency in Mandarin Chinese will be critical in building trust and facilitating seamless communication with partners across the region.

Core Duties

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic partnership opportunities that align with PolicyStreet's growth objectives
• Develop compelling partnership proposals and present business cases to prospective partners and senior leadership
• Negotiate partnership agreements, terms, and commercial arrangements to secure favourable outcomes
• Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing partners across diverse markets
• Serve as the primary liaison between PolicyStreet teams and Mandarin-speaking partners, ensuring clear communication and cultural alignment
• Track partnership performance against agreed metrics and deliver regular reporting to management stakeholders
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to support partnership delivery and maximise joint value creation
• Explore emerging opportunities in new markets and channels to accelerate expansion through alliances

Skills & Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written) and professional English proficiency
• Minimum 3 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or similar commercial roles
• Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and closing high-value partnerships
• Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities
• Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate partnership opportunities objectively
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
• Self-motivated with capacity to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams
• Prior experience in insurance, fintech, or financial services is advantageous
