Senior Azure AI Consultant

Phoenix Software is seeking a Senior Azure AI Consultant to join our team across the United Kingdom on a full-time, remote basis. Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions powered by Microsoft Azure, working directly with clients to unlock value through intelligent cloud technologies.

About the Role

As a Senior Azure AI Consultant, you will combine technical excellence with strategic business acumen to guide enterprise clients through their cloud and AI transformation. You will own the complete project lifecycle—from initial discovery and solution architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment—while serving as the trusted technical authority for complex, mission-critical AI initiatives on the Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale AI and machine learning solutions using Azure Cognitive Services, Machine Learning, and Data platforms
• Conduct technical discovery and requirements workshops to translate business objectives into architectural recommendations
• Lead solution implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance requirements
• Mentor technical teams and junior consultants, fostering knowledge transfer and capability building
• Evaluate emerging Azure AI capabilities and advise clients on adoption roadmaps aligned with their strategic goals
• Manage stakeholder communications, technical documentation, and delivery milestones throughout project engagement

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven expertise delivering enterprise AI and machine learning solutions on Microsoft Azure platforms
• Strong foundation in cloud architecture design and best practices for scalability, security, and cost optimisation
• Hands-on proficiency with Python, C#, or similar languages for AI model development and integration
• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, model training, and deployment methodologies
• Experience in client-facing consulting roles with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate with senior stakeholders
• Track record mentoring technical teams and leading complex, cross-functional delivery engagements
• Azure professional certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent) strongly preferred
