Associate Project Director

Nueva Esperanza, a community-focused organization based in Oak Lane, Philadelphia County, is hiring a full-time Associate Project Director to strengthen our program delivery and organizational capacity.

About the Role

In this full-time position, you'll serve as a key operational leader, working alongside senior management to translate organizational vision into concrete initiatives. You'll oversee the complete lifecycle of programs and projects—from design through evaluation—while maintaining fiscal responsibility and ensuring quality outcomes across multiple geographic contexts.

What You'll Do

• Partner with senior leadership to establish departmental objectives and design high-impact programs and initiatives
• Execute program plans at the local, regional, and national levels with careful attention to quality and timeliness
• Own budget responsibilities, including forecasting, resource allocation, and fiscal stewardship
• Lead administrative operations and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures
• Design and implement tracking systems to monitor program performance, outcomes, and impact
• Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis, stakeholder input, and continuous improvement practices
• Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to internal teams and external partners
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support program success

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in project leadership, operations management, program coordination, or similar professional roles
• Demonstrated competence managing budgets and financial resources with accountability
• Strong project management capability with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative leadership approach with experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams
• Passion for community impact and genuine alignment with mission-driven work
• Comfort with data analysis, performance tracking, and standard business reporting tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
