What This Role Involves
As an Associate (Costs), you'll play a key part in maintaining rigorous cost control and financial accuracy. You'll work within our finance team to analyse expenditure, manage cost records, and provide insights that help drive informed decision-making. Your attention to detail and analytical approach will ensure that costs are tracked, verified, and reported reliably across the organisation.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain cost records and schedules, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Analyse and review cost data to identify variances and support cost management
- Support the preparation of cost reports and financial statements
- Liaise with internal teams to gather cost information and clarify financial queries
- Process cost-related transactions and reconcile accounts
- Assist in cost forecasting and budgetary analysis where required
- Maintain clear documentation and follow established financial controls and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in a finance, accounting, or cost-related role, or relevant qualification (CCAB or equivalent)
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Clear communication skills and ability to explain financial information to colleagues
