PPE Engineer (TB)

This full-time position is critical to maintaining the highest standards of personal protective equipment management and compliance within our production environment.

The Opportunity

Continental is seeking an experienced PPE Engineer to join our Production team in Plauk Daeng, RAYONG, Thailand. In this role, you'll take ownership of personal protective equipment systems, specifications, and safety protocols that protect our workforce. You'll work across multiple departments, translating complex safety requirements into practical, effective solutions while staying ahead of regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update PPE specifications and safety standards for all production areas
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify gaps in current protective equipment protocols
• Test and evaluate new PPE materials and equipment to ensure effectiveness and compliance
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source approved PPE and manage inventory
• Document all PPE usage, maintenance schedules, and replacement procedures
• Train production teams on proper PPE selection, fitting, and maintenance
• Monitor regulatory compliance and implement updates to meet changing legal requirements
• Investigate incident reports related to PPE failure and recommend improvements

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Proven experience as a PPE Engineer or similar safety engineering role in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of PPE standards, testing methods, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience with risk assessment tools and workplace safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Proficiency with documentation and compliance tracking systems
• Fluency in English; Thai language skills are beneficial
