Role Overview

As a trainee mechatroniker at our Korbach facility, you'll gain experience across the complete spectrum of mechatronic systems—from assembly and commissioning through testing and optimisation. Your apprenticeship integrates real production work with classroom instruction, giving you authentic exposure to mechanical, electrical, and software integration. You'll contribute meaningfully to Continental projects whilst building a certified qualification recognised across Germany and Europe.

Core Duties

• Assemble, install, and commission mechatronic components and finished systems
• Diagnose faults and perform maintenance using appropriate testing and diagnostic equipment
• Study electrical circuits, pneumatic systems, and automation principles through practical application
• Work alongside experienced technicians and engineers on live manufacturing projects
• Maintain detailed documentation and follow all safety, quality, and workplace protocols
• Develop troubleshooting capability through structured problem-solving in real technical environments
