Continental seeks a full-time Control Room Operator for Energy Supply (Mitarbeiter Leitstand Energieversorgung) in Hannover, NDS, DE. This on-site operational role is essential to maintaining reliable energy infrastructure management across our facilities.

About This Position

As a Control Room Operator with Continental in Hannover, you will be at the heart of our energy supply operations. Working in shifts, you'll monitor critical infrastructure systems and respond to operational events that keep our energy management running smoothly. This role demands technical vigilance, sound judgment under pressure, and a genuine commitment to safety in every decision you make.

Responsibilities

• Monitor energy supply systems, sensors, and control room displays throughout assigned shifts
• Respond to system alerts, anomalies, and operational events with appropriate corrective actions
• Maintain detailed shift logs, operational records, and handover documentation
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, engineering staff, and other departments during incidents
• Enforce safety protocols, lockout procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Support equipment testing and system troubleshooting activities
• Report operational status and escalate critical issues to supervisors immediately

Who We're Looking For

• Technical qualification or apprenticeship in energy systems, electrical engineering, or industrial operations
• Proven ability to monitor complex systems and identify anomalies reliably
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Strong safety awareness and demonstrated compliance with technical regulations
• Fluent German and working proficiency in English
• Composure and clear communication under operational pressure
• Prior experience with SCADA systems or industrial control room environments is advantageous
