Coordinator Rider On Ground Ops

Delivery Hero is hiring a Coordinator Rider On Ground Ops in Alexandria, Alexandria Governorate, EG, on a contract basis. This role is essential to the daily operations of our delivery platform, ensuring smooth coordination between our team and rider network across the region.

What This Role Involves

As a Coordinator Rider On Ground Ops, you'll be the operational hub connecting Delivery Hero's central team with our rider fleet on the ground. You'll manage real-time coordination, resolve operational challenges, and ensure delivery performance standards are met consistently across Alexandria. This hands-on position requires strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily rider schedules, assignments, and shift planning to optimise delivery coverage across service zones
• Monitor on-ground operations and respond promptly to operational issues, delays, or incidents affecting service quality
• Maintain effective communication with the rider team regarding performance expectations, delivery targets, and operational updates
• Collect and report on operational metrics, rider performance data, and ground-level insights to support decision-making
• Manage rider check-ins, verify equipment readiness, and ensure compliance with operational procedures
• Troubleshoot delivery-related problems and coordinate solutions with riders and internal teams
• Support rider recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations coordination, logistics, or ground operations management
• Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities in a dynamic environment
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Local knowledge of Alexandria and familiarity with traffic patterns, delivery zones, and the local business landscape
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with riders and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency with basic technology tools and willingness to learn operational systems
• Flexibility to work schedules aligned with peak delivery times and operational needs
