Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior EMC Validation Engineer to join our engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will oversee electromagnetic compatibility validation, design testing strategies, and ensure products meet international regulatory standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in bringing compliant, high-performance solutions to market while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Core Duties

• Design and execute comprehensive EMC testing protocols for automotive and industrial components
• Conduct compliance validation against international standards including CE marking, FCC, and automotive-specific regulations
• Analyse test data, document findings, and recommend design modifications to resolve electromagnetic compatibility issues
• Collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams to integrate EMC requirements early in the development cycle
• Lead and mentor team members on testing methodologies and regulatory compliance requirements
• Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation for regulatory submissions

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related discipline
• Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in EMC testing, validation, or compliance engineering
• Deep knowledge of EMC test standards (IEC 61000, EN 61000, automotive EMC directives)
• Proficiency with EMC testing equipment and laboratory instrumentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
