IQVIA is seeking an experienced Senior HR Director on a full-time basis to drive strategic human resources leadership across its Global Clinical Development division based in London, UK.
About This Position
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for an accomplished HR strategist to shape organisational culture, talent capability, and business transformation within one of the life sciences industry's most dynamic environments. As Senior HR Director, you will function as a trusted business partner to senior executives across our Global Clinical Development (GCD) and R&D Solutions operations. Based in Europe, you will support a genuinely global leadership structure and influence people strategy at the highest levels of the organisation.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute talent strategy that attracts, develops, and retains high-performing teams across clinical development functions
- Partner with senior leadership to drive organisational effectiveness, design optimal operating structures, and align people practices with business objectives
- Lead cultural transformation and change management initiatives to support business evolution and strategic priorities
- Design and deliver learning and development programmes that build capability and leadership within GCD and R&D Solutions
- Build strong employee engagement and retention frameworks whilst fostering an inclusive, high-performance workplace
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee relations policies ensuring compliance, fairness, and market competitiveness
- Collaborate with global HR peers and group functions to embed consistent people practices across the organisation
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a senior HR leader, HRBP, or HR director within a complex, matrix-driven organisation
- Background in life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical research, or contract research environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated expertise in talent strategy, organisational development, and change leadership
- Strong strategic business acumen with ability to influence senior executives and shape board-level conversation
- Experience owning compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, learning, and employee relations functions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse, multi-cultural teams and geographies
- CIPD qualification or equivalent professional HR credential, and knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR
