Lube Technician

Join Rockwall Kia in Fate, Rockwall County, as a Full-Time Lube Technician with Lithia & Driveway. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to perform essential vehicle maintenance services and support our customers' automotive needs through quality fluid services and expert care.

About the Role

As a Lube Technician at Rockwall Kia, you'll perform routine fluid services, filter replacements, and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles. This hands-on position is critical to our service department, ensuring every customer receives quality workmanship and honest recommendations for their vehicle's care.

What You'll Do

• Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements according to manufacturer specifications
• Inspect vehicles for routine maintenance needs and communicate findings to service advisors
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and dispose of materials responsibly
• Document all work completed in the shop management system
• Explain maintenance work clearly to customers in accessible language
• Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple vehicles efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check
• Prior experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive role (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to learn and grow with a dynamic dealership team
