Automotive Parts Manager

Lithia & Driveway is seeking an Automotive Parts Manager to lead operations at our Ford dealership in Fort Monmouth, Monmouth County. About the Role

The Automotive Parts Manager oversees all parts department operations, from inventory and customer fulfillment to staff management and performance. You'll be the backbone of our service and sales operations, ensuring every customer gets the right parts, on time, and supported by a knowledgeable team that reflects your leadership. This is a full-time position based at our Fort Monmouth location.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily parts inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to maximize availability and minimize waste
• Lead, mentor, and schedule parts department team members to deliver exceptional customer service
• Process customer and internal parts requests with accuracy and efficiency
• Oversee pricing, cost control, and profitability for the parts department
• Build relationships with customers, service advisors, and sales teams to identify parts needs
• Maintain accurate records, manage returns, and handle warranty and core exchanges
• Stay current on vehicle models, parts applications, and system changes

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing automotive parts operations or similar supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, specifications, and inventory systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with dealership management systems and parts ordering platforms
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy and service quality
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive industry certification a plus
