Clinical Research Associate, Sponsor Dedicated, Oncology or Immunology

IQVIA is hiring a Clinical Research Associate, Sponsor Dedicated, Oncology or Immunology in Carlsbad, San Diego County. This full-time position is critical to ensuring oncology and immunology clinical trials maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance, study integrity, and sponsor oversight.

About the Role

As a Clinical Research Associate focused on sponsor-dedicated research, you'll bridge study sponsors and clinical trial sites, overseeing operations to ensure seamless execution of oncology and immunology studies. You'll monitor sites for protocol adherence, regulatory compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) standards, and sponsor requirements throughout each trial's lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Perform site selection, initiation, ongoing monitoring, and close-out activities aligned with GCP standards
• Verify protocol compliance and identify deviations requiring corrective action
• Review source documents, case report forms, and study records for accuracy and completeness
• Partner with site investigators and coordinators to support enrollment and study operations
• Conduct investigator meetings and site staff training on study requirements
• Track enrollment metrics, safety data, and site performance indicators
• Document monitoring activities and escalate issues to sponsors
• Maintain detailed records in clinical trial management systems

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, healthcare, or related field
• Experience in clinical research coordination, site monitoring, or clinical operations
• Working knowledge of GCP, ICH-GCP, and FDA regulatory requirements
• Background in oncology or immunology clinical trials strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple sites and balance competing demands
• Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and trial databases
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to regulatory compliance
