About the Role
Source Code is hiring experienced Respiratory Care Practitioners for full-time positions offering 36 hours per week with variable shift flexibility. This is a combined recruitment for both Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner levels—your credentials and background will determine your level and career trajectory within our organization.
What You'll Do
- Assess patient respiratory status and implement individualized treatment plans under physician direction
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation systems and respiratory devices
- Perform and interpret blood gas analysis and other pulmonary diagnostic testing
- Deliver patient education on breathing techniques, medication delivery, and home respiratory management
- Monitor therapeutic response and document clinical findings in patient records
- Partner with nursing and medical staff to achieve optimal respiratory outcomes
- Uphold infection control and equipment safety standards in all clinical settings
What We're Looking For
- Active Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure in Washington State
- Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification or equivalent
- Demonstrated clinical experience in acute or critical care respiratory therapy
- Solid understanding of pulmonary physiology, pathology, and cardiopulmonary mechanics
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
