About the Role
As Senior HR Business Partner at John Sisk and Son, you will be a strategic advisor to senior leadership and operational teams, translating business objectives into people-focused initiatives that strengthen our organisation. Working within our family-owned group, you'll help create an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture whilst managing key HR programmes and employee relations across our divisions in building, infrastructure, rail, energy, and manufacturing.
What You'll Do
- Partner with senior stakeholders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business priorities

- Develop and implement learning and development programmes to enhance capability across the organisation
- Support recruitment, retention, and succession planning initiatives
- Drive engagement and communication activities to strengthen employee connection and commitment
- Ensure HR compliance and support implementation of policies across sites and teams
- Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives across Sisk's operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior HR generalist or business partner role within a complex, multi-site organisation
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels
- Experience in change management and organisational development
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational excellence
- Experience working in construction, engineering, or related industries valued
- Professional HR qualification or equivalent experience
