About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization with multiple locations across Germany. Our talent team is seeking an Application and Software Support Specialist to ensure seamless operation of enterprise software solutions for their clients. This role combines technical administration, customer communication, and quality assurance in a dynamic environment.

Locations: Dortmund, Hamburg, Erfurt, Karlsruhe, or Leipzig

Employment Type: Full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of application environments (on-premises and cloud) for client software deployments
• Provide support, administration, and configuration of business information systems
• Perform software updates, system testing, and program quality assurance
• Support first-level IT support teams with application-related inquiries
• Serve as liaison between clients and internal development teams for troubleshooting and new requirements
• Implement customization and data model adjustments based on client needs
• Document technical processes and maintain system configuration standards

What We're Looking For

• Degree in (Geo-)Informatics, Computer Science, completed vocational training, or comparable qualification
• Experience in application operations for software solutions (preferred)
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, such as C#, is desirable
• Enthusiasm for discovering new technologies and continuous professional development
• Experience in the energy sector is advantageous but not required
• Independent working style with strong team collaboration skills
• High level of communication ability and customer service orientation
• German language proficiency required for client interaction
