AI Security (Senior) Consultant (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity consultancy seeking an AI Security Consultant at both mid-level and senior levels. In this role, you will:

• Analyze business processes, organizational structures, and technical systems to identify optimization opportunities through AI implementation
• Advise clients on the secure introduction and deployment of AI solutions, helping them assess opportunities and risks
• Develop tailored AI strategies for business units to enhance cybersecurity effectiveness and efficiency
• Support project and program management for client engagements
• Prepare and facilitate workshops and training sessions on AI security topics
• Create reporting materials and documentation for decision-makers and committees
• Monitor market and technology trends in AI security, deriving insights for client projects and consulting methodologies

Additionally at Senior Level:

• Lead and oversee AI security projects from analysis through implementation, serving as the central interface between business units, IT, and security teams
• Support executives and stakeholders with strategic and conceptual questions regarding AI use within existing security frameworks
• Design and facilitate workshops, assessments, and training on AI security, including risk assessment and secure use of generative AI
• Develop and evaluate practical concepts and guidelines for securing AI applications
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure transparency on project progress, risks, and decisions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in business administration, informatics, technical, scientific, mathematical, or related discipline
• 1–2 years of professional experience for Consultant level; 2–5 years for Senior Consultant level
• Strong interest in secure AI development, secure use of AI applications, or leveraging AI to improve cybersecurity
• Structured and pragmatic work approach with ability to quickly master new topics
• Open and empathetic personality with strong team orientation
• Motivated, performance-oriented, flexible, and communicative working style
• Comfort with technical concepts and ability to bridge development and management perspectives
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)

Additionally at Senior Level:

• Demonstrated expertise in secure AI development, secure AI application use, or AI-enhanced cybersecurity
• Solid knowledge of modern project management methodologies and business processes in IT and cybersecurity
• Strong initiative with passion for driving innovation and building long-term client relationships
• Analytical and visionary thinking combined with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Confident client-facing skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
