Customer Care & Claims Agent Netherlands (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential insurance technology organization based in Berlin. In this role, you will:

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers and partners in the Netherlands, handling inbound calls and emails with accurate documentation and first-contact resolution focus
• Independently manage new claims cases from intake through resolution, maintaining proactive oversight to ensure nothing is overlooked
• Meet service level agreements consistently through disciplined, independent work habits and strong personal accountability
• Communicate decisions clearly to customers and partners, ensuring transparency in reasoning and outcomes
• Maintain and actively use CRM systems and proprietary contract management platforms with care and attention to data quality
• Collaborate with operations colleagues to continuously refine processes for improved customer experience and internal efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Native-level Dutch and fluent English; German is a plus but not required
• Proven experience in customer service, customer care, or service center environments; insurance industry background is highly preferred
• Strong customer focus combined with decisiveness, assertiveness, and excellent communication skills across written and verbal channels
• Friendly, approachable personality with genuine enjoyment of customer interaction
• Nice to have: B2B experience, interest in insurance products, technical aptitude, and comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity
