About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Hamburg. Our client develops technology platforms that serve the public sector and deliver meaningful impact for society. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex IT projects in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale IT projects using agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to translate client requirements into technical solutions and processes; act as Product Owner in agile project setups
- Manage projects across diverse technology environments including content management systems, form management systems, low-code platforms, custom application development, and workplace solutions
- Guide clients through digital transformation initiatives and advise on suitable technology solutions
- Coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and manage interfaces between internal and external stakeholders
- Design and facilitate client workshops, developing strategies for efficient implementation of digital solutions
- Identify optimization opportunities in collaboration processes, develop targeted recommendations, and proactively shape change initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience managing IT projects independently, with demonstrated success leading teams
- Strong expertise in agile or classical project methodologies; certification such as PMI/CAPM, PRINCE2, Scrum PSPO/PSM is ideal
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional IT projects including websites, intranets, mobile applications, digital form systems, or custom business applications
- Comfort with complex technical challenges and strong client relationship skills with an eye for business development opportunities
- Excellent communication abilities across all organizational levels; able to convey complex topics clearly and appropriately to different audiences
- Completed university degree
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
