Staff Product Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential data platform organization seeking a Staff Product Manager to join their runtime engineering team in Berlin. In this role, you will lead product strategy at the intersection of query processing, cloud storage, infrastructure, and data governance—all core to how enterprises process and derive value from massive data volumes.

You will own the complete product lifecycle from vision through launch:

• Drive end-to-end product management for runtime and infrastructure components
• Engage directly with enterprise customers to gather requirements and validate solutions
• Define long-term product strategy and detailed roadmaps aligned to customer needs
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver polished, production-ready features
• Coordinate cross-functional launch activities including release notes, blog posts, and webinars
• Define and track OKRs that measure product success and customer impact
• Prioritize features that measurably reduce cost and complexity for customers processing petabytes of data

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional experience with demonstrated product management expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Proven track record in both inbound and outbound product management
• Strong technical foundation with hands-on skills in SQL, data analysis, and building operational dashboards
• Solid understanding of modern cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Experience managing cross-functional product processes and stakeholder alignment
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
