Product Designer (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential property management organization based in Munich that is building transformative software for their industry. Our client is developing an integrated platform that includes customer portals, AI-powered agents, and administrative tools—all designed to modernize workflows that have been underserved by technology for decades.

As the first dedicated designer on their product team, you'll establish design systems and processes from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape the design foundation for software that directly impacts how professionals work and how people experience property services.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete design process: conduct user interviews with administrators and clients, synthesize insights into concepts, and craft interfaces for customer-facing and internal platforms
• Work as part of a product engineering team with shared repositories and rhythms—your designs typically go live within weeks
• Build and evolve the design system in Figma, from wireframes through interactive prototypes to component libraries
• Implement your own designs using AI-assisted development tools (React, Tailwind, shadcn/ui), delivering partial or complete features alongside engineers
• Design interaction patterns for AI agent workflows, defining where users need control and transparency in automated processes
• Receive and incorporate rapid feedback from colleagues and end users through direct communication channels

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of product design experience, ideally with B2B software or complex workflows
• Portfolio with 2–3 case studies demonstrating your thinking from user research through shipped interfaces
• Strong proficiency with Figma across the full spectrum: wireframes, clickable prototypes, and component libraries
• Hands-on experience with qualitative research: conducting interviews, synthesizing findings, and validating assumptions through usability testing
• Instinct for interaction design and information architecture in data-rich applications
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0 or similar) to implement features in code
• Solid foundation in HTML and CSS; JavaScript knowledge is a plus
• German language skills at B2 level minimum
