Associate Director/Teamlead Digital Media (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency in Düsseldorf seeking an Associate Director/Team Lead Digital Media to lead a team of digital media planners and develop innovative campaigns for renowned clients. You will take on both strategic responsibility and the professional and organizational leadership of your team.

• Media Planning: Translate overarching strategies into targeted media measures and ensure quality control of media plans across all digital channels including Display, Video, Mobile, Social, and Search.
• Team Leadership: Provide professional and organizational leadership while actively supporting the development and growth of your team members.
• Project Management: Take ownership of coordinating complex digital projects in close collaboration with client teams, creative agencies, publishers, and internal specialist departments.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market monitoring and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Stakeholder Management: Take accountability for reporting, analysis, and presentations for internal stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in digital media planning, consulting, or campaign management, ideally with initial leadership experience.
• Education: Completed degree in Business, Communications, or Media Studies, or comparable training in the media or advertising industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of common planning tools and digital channels.
• Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
• Communication: Excellent client orientation, assertiveness, and confident presence with strong persuasion skills.
• Language Skills: Fluent German and English required for negotiation-level communication.
