Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential software development firm serving strategic clients in München. In this Java Backend Developer role, you will:
- Contribute to demanding development projects for established enterprise clients
- Build solutions using modern technologies in an agile Java environment, including Spring Boot
- Take ownership of component development and testing, including interface design, with mentorship support aligned to your experience level
- Write well-structured, readable, clean code that meets quality standards
- Participate in sprint and code reviews, sharing knowledge with teammates and incorporating constructive feedback
- Continuously develop your technical skills and stay current with evolving technologies
- Present your work to clients and gather feedback through direct communication
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge and practical experience in the Java ecosystem
- Openness to new approaches and enthusiasm for working with innovative technologies
- Talent and passion combined with methodical, analytical thinking
- Team player mindset suited to agile development environments, with a solutions-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting results to clients
