Working Student – Release Support and Automation

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical technology organization based in Munich that is building advanced imaging solutions for healthcare professionals. Our talent team is seeking a Working Student to support release coordination and automation activities for a critical medical imaging platform.

This is an on-site working student position for candidates currently enrolled at a university. The role offers up to 20 hours per week with flexibility during examination periods. Regular presence at the Munich office is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track product-related incidents across public and internal regulatory sources using both manual research and automated routines
• Support software development and release activities by testing new features, bug fixes, and release candidates
• Help maintain and continuously improve testing environments, ensuring stability and readiness for validation activities
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring tasks related to incident monitoring, testing, and release management
• Support project managers with day-to-day project coordination and operational tasks
• Collaborate with the development team throughout the full development cycle from early concepts through implementation to final testing and release

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in computer science, health informatics, medical technology, life sciences, or a related field
• Background or strong interest in biomedical imaging
• Genuine interest in medical imaging and data processing
• Interest in medical device safety and vigilance data with a structured, detail-oriented approach to researching and documenting findings
• First experience with, or strong interest in, software testing/QA concepts and release or deployment processes
• Basic programming or scripting skills and enthusiasm for automating recurring tasks
• Experience or interest in working with version control workflows
• Structured and independent working style with a high level of reliability
• Good command of English in a professional environment; German is beneficial
