About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential public-sector technology organization based in Würzburg that is modernizing procurement and tendering systems for government entities. Our talent team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a focused team responsible for building and maintaining the integration and deployment platform that powers their software portfolio.

This role offers the chance to work on critical infrastructure supporting public procurement processes, with a strong emphasis on automation, continuous delivery, and modern DevOps practices. You'll have autonomy in shaping deployment workflows while supporting development and quality assurance teams across the product suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously modernize the integration and delivery platform
• Support software development and quality assurance teams across the entire product portfolio
• Take ownership of the deployment process and actively contribute to its evolution
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable software delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize automation and integration workflows

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Strong practical experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Proven expertise in developing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines
• Hands-on experience with automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Linux scripting, especially Bash
• Team-oriented mindset with genuine enthusiasm for your work

Helpful Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible
• Practical experience with container platforms, particularly Docker
