About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential online gaming and digital entertainment organization with operations across the UK and Europe. Following recent expansion, they are building out their People & Culture function across three UK locations and need an experienced HR Generalist to establish consistent processes and systems while supporting local teams.

This is a hands-on role based in Norwich with regular travel to London, Manchester, and Hamburg. You'll own core HR operations from the ground up, working closely with leadership to create scalable processes during an exciting growth phase.

Responsibilities

  • Unify and administer HRIS across all three UK locations
  • Independently manage payroll for all UK entities
  • Build and own administrative HR processes including contracts, onboarding, off-boarding, employee files, and compliance aligned with organizational standards
  • Roll out and advise managers and employees on performance management, individual cases, and People & Culture topics
  • Mediate and provide guidance in interpersonal or employment-related conflict situations
  • Brief and coach people managers on leadership topics and HR processes
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee belonging topics and processes
  • Maintain regular presence across all three sites and the Hamburg headquarters

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of experience as an HR or People & Culture Generalist, ideally within the UK market
  • Solid knowledge of UK payroll and UK employment law
  • Experience building HR structures and processes in growing or newly integrated organizations (post-M&A, start-ups, or scale-ups)
  • Hands-on experience implementing or unifying HRIS systems
  • Confident handling of performance management processes, plus experience in mediation and conflict resolution
  • Strong hands-on mentality, self-initiative, and comfort building structures from scratch
  • Strong communication and advisory skills with managers and employees at all levels
  • Willingness to travel between London, Manchester, and Hamburg
  • Fluent English, spoken and written
