About This Position
As Human Resources Generalist at BelPak, you'll play a central role in supporting our operations across multiple facilities in the Peel region. This is a full-time position where you'll manage day-to-day HR functions for a company recognized as a leader in precision packing of chocolate, confectionary, and snack products. You'll work closely with management and staff to ensure smooth HR operations and help foster a positive workplace culture in our expanding organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for production and administrative roles
- Administer payroll, benefits, and employee relations matters
- Ensure compliance with employment standards and Ontario labour regulations
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Handle employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution
- Support training and professional development initiatives
- Maintain accurate personnel records and HR information systems
- Contribute to workplace safety and health initiatives
Who We're Looking For
- Professional background in human resources or related field
- Knowledge of Ontario employment standards and labour regulations
- Experience with payroll systems and HR information platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively
- Professional discretion and commitment to confidentiality
- Experience working in or supporting a manufacturing or operations-focused environment
