Cdi – Charge(E) De Sourcing Et Developpement Textile Senior (H/F)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential luxury fashion house based in Paris. We are seeking a Senior Textile Sourcing and Development Specialist to lead textile sourcing and development for ready-to-wear collections.

You will work closely with design and product teams to identify and develop fabrics that align with the creative vision. Your responsibilities include:

• Source and select textiles aligned with seasonal collection requirements
• Present fabric selections regularly to textile leadership and design teams
• Coordinate and lead supplier meetings and appointments
• Attend textile trade shows in Paris and Milan
• Manage and organize the fabric library
• Launch and oversee textile development projects including lab dips, prints, jacquards, and bespoke developments
• Liaise with suppliers and mill technicians throughout the development process
• Ensure development timelines and priorities are met
• Coordinate handover of developments to the purchasing team
• Maintain comprehensive development archives and traceability
• Develop and monitor sourcing and development schedules with cross-functional teams
• Review fabric racks and boards with purchasing colleagues
• Conduct weekly alignment meetings with design and product managers
• Contribute to collection material planning and framework
• Monitor textile development budget

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of experience in textile sourcing and development
• Deep expertise in textile materials and strong knowledge of fabric suppliers and mill technicians
• Strong product sensibility and genuine interest in textiles
• Curiosity, proactive approach, and excellent prioritization skills
• Fluency in English required; Italian is a plus
• Experience in luxury or premium fashion environments preferred
