About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential SaaS client in Munich seeking an Onboarding Manager to guide enterprise and mid-market customers through platform implementation. This is a client-facing role where you'll take ownership of complex onboarding projects from contract signature through successful go-live, working at the intersection of business process, technology, and customer success.

You'll serve as the central point of contact during platform introduction, translating customer requirements into scalable solutions while actively guiding clients toward best practices. This role combines project management expertise with deep platform knowledge and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer onboarding projects in a SaaS environment, from kickoff through go-live and handoff to customer success
• Lead customers through all project phases including timeline planning, technical clarification, implementation, testing, enablement, and launch
• Create and maintain project plans, milestones, status reports, risk analyses, and decision documentation
• Proactively monitor project progress, quality, budget, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders
• Analyze customer business processes and translate functional requirements into scalable platform solutions
• Advise customer business and IT teams on loyalty, CRM, marketing automation, e-commerce, POS, ERP, and data integration topics
• Structure requirements, open items, risks, and decisions for both customer and internal teams
• Support clarification of technical integrations, data flows, and system architectures
• Actively guide customers toward product-compliant best practices, constructively challenging or redirecting requests that don't align with platform strategy
• Communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders from functional departments to technical teams and management
• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, data, sales, and customer success teams
• Contribute customer feedback and project insights to continuous improvement of platform and processes
• Continuously develop your product knowledge and understanding of new features and integration patterns

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 3+ years in project management, onboarding, or implementation of SaaS, software, or platform solutions
• Proven experience collaborating with business and IT departments in B2B or enterprise environments
• Understanding of system landscapes around CRM, marketing automation, e-commerce, POS, ERP, data warehousing, BI, or data integration
• Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical or product-aligned solution approaches
