About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential design-build firm in Berlin that specializes in commercial and residential interior construction projects across Germany. Our talent team is searching for a Project Leader / Team Leader – Architecture or a Senior Architect with Team Management Responsibility to serve as the critical interface between planning teams and construction execution teams.

This is a permanent position based in Berlin, offering the opportunity to lead ambitious fit-out projects across diverse asset classes including office, hotel, retail, fitness, and light industrial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for a project team across all relevant project phases
• Lead demanding interior construction projects from concept through completion
• Manage, motivate, and develop your team members – acting as their primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
• Independently control costs, schedules, and quality on a continuous basis
• Coordinate and direct external specialist planners as the central interface
• Manage external and internal stakeholder relationships throughout the planning process
• Execute design-build projects interdisciplinarily alongside construction teams

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed university or polytechnic degree in Architecture
• Several years of experience in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects
• Initial experience in technical or disciplinary leadership of project teams, or strong willingness to assume leadership responsibility
• Planning competence, ideally in both existing buildings and new construction
• Ability to independently develop complex concepts, advance them, and implement solutions in a needs-based, solution-oriented manner
• Strong knowledge of German building regulations (BauO), relevant construction standards, and planning/approval law
• Excellent cooperation, communication, and team leadership skills
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications, ArchiCAD, and practical application of BIM methodologies
• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken); English proficiency desired
