Software Developer AI Coding

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential manufacturing client seeking a Software Developer - AI Coding to join their team remotely from anywhere in the world. Our client is a growing organization that values clear communication, ownership, and rapid execution. They need a developer who can take internal tools and training systems to the next level using AI-assisted development.

This is a remote position requiring at least 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master the client's internal training application platform
• Customize and extend the training app to meet evolving business needs
• Build features, integrations, and automations using AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, and Grok
• Translate requests from operational and administrative teams into working technical solutions
• Create clear documentation to support ongoing use and maintenance
• Provide regular, transparent progress updates to stakeholders
• Take on additional internal tools and automation projects over time

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong, demonstrable skill with AI-assisted coding—you know how to effectively prompt, validate, and refine AI-generated code
• Proven ability to quickly learn unfamiliar platforms and codebases
• Experience building and working with APIs, web applications, and integrations
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python preferred
• Excellent written English and consistent communication skills
• Ability to overlap at least 4 hours daily with US Eastern Time
• Bonus: experience with learning management systems (LMS) or training platforms
• Bonus: background in manufacturing or regulated industries
