We are representing a highly regarded organization in the Dortmund area seeking an SAP FI/CO Inhouse Consultant. This role offers 40% home office flexibility and the opportunity to play a key role in an S/4 HANA transformation project. Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert for SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules
• Gather requirements from business departments and provide proactive consultation on current R/3 system capabilities with future S/4 HANA migration in mind
• Develop and enhance solutions using ABAP and ABAP OO programming within the SAP development environment
• Design, implement, and maintain interfaces between SAP systems and non-SAP systems, including user-exits and webservices
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing SAP finance processes and introduce new financial tools
• Actively contribute to the design, development, and documentation of business processes, particularly within the S/4 HANA transformation initiative
• Coordinate external service providers and maintain close alignment with business stakeholders
• Organize and support software testing activities, including subsystems

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP technical implementation, development, and consulting for finance business processes
• Ideally, initial experience in project management
• Strong communication skills with consulting aptitude—able to serve as an effective interface between business departments and IT
• Team-oriented with a structured, independent working style
• Pronounced analytical and conceptual abilities
• German language proficiency required for this Dortmund-based role
