(Senior) AI Strategy & Implementation Consultant

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization serving mid-market clients across the DACH region. In this role, you will take full ownership of AI strategy and implementation mandates, working directly with decision-makers to drive measurable transformation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading AI strategy and implementation projects for mid-market clients across industries including professional services and investment firms
• Conducting strategic analysis horizontally across all functional areas — marketing, sales, customer service, accounting, operations, and IT
• Prioritizing use cases and designing implementation roadmaps based on measurable impact
• Managing change alongside technical implementation, ensuring adoption addresses human factors and organizational readiness
• Providing technical support and coordinating closely with client IT departments during deployment
• Contributing to knowledge transfer through certified training programs and live project sessions

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with hands-on AI implementation experience, not just theoretical knowledge. You must have personally designed and built AI systems — deployed a RAG pipeline, brought an agent into production, or taken technical responsibility for an automation project. You should be able to defend your technical understanding of LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, cloud versus local deployment, and their respective limitations through concrete project examples.

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years professional experience with demonstrable project or mandate responsibility — as a strategy, management, or technology consultant, as a project lead for AI or digital transformation initiatives, or in comparable operational roles
• Proven ability to lead client engagements at both C-level and project manager levels
• Experience presenting and facilitating knowledge transfer to groups — workshops, training sessions, or online events with multiple participants (preferred)
• Fluent German and good English
• Residence in Germany
