Marketing Manager Werkstudent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential marketing agency based in Frankfurt am Main. Our client works across retail, hospitality, food, and location marketing — creating campaigns, content, and live experiences for established brands. This is a working student (Werkstudent) position where you'll support real projects from day one, working directly with senior team members in a fast-paced creative environment.

This role combines social media management with hands-on event support. You'll split your time between content creation for client channels and on-the-ground activation at live events, product launches, and brand experiences across the region.

Responsibilities

• Support editorial planning and content creation for client social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
• Shoot and edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories) using smartphone and editing apps
• Monitor community comments and track emerging platform trends
• Assist with event planning logistics including venue coordination, vendor management, and scheduling
• Provide on-site support during client activations, late-night shopping events, creator gatherings, and trade show appearances
• Capture and publish live content during events for immediate posting
• Conduct competitor research, prepare presentations, and support client meeting preparation

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled student, ideally in marketing, communications, media, event management, or business administration (specific degree less important than demonstrated skills)
• Strong familiarity with Instagram and TikTok — you understand what makes a good hook and can create engaging short-form content
• Ability to shoot and edit Reels using smartphone tools like CapCut, InShot, or similar
• Good eye for visual storytelling and platform-native content
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) or Canva is a plus but not required
• Reliable, proactive, and able to maintain positive energy during long event days (sometimes 12+ hours)
• Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders including clients, vendors, and content creators
• Valid driver's license (Class B) preferred due to frequent off-site events
• Fluent written and spoken German; comfortable working in English
• Availability of 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility during exam periods
