(Senior) UI/UX Designer for Mobile App (m/f/d) | for 2 month

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential wellness technology client based in Berlin for a 2-month contract UI/UX Designer position. Our client is focused on creating innovative mobile applications that prioritize user well-being through thoughtful digital experiences. This is an excellent short-term engagement for a designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and can make immediate impact on mobile product development.

The role is fully remote within Germany, offering flexibility while collaborating with an international product team. You'll be instrumental in refining the visual language and user experience of a consumer-facing mobile application.

Responsibilities

• Own the look and feel of the mobile application, ensuring visual consistency and excellent user experience across all touchpoints
• Design UI elements, interactions, and screens that are both intuitive and visually compelling
• Evolve and maintain UI guidelines including color systems, typography, iconography, animations, and interaction principles
• Create user flows and design new features that maximize user engagement and retention
• Develop prototypes for rapid testing and validation of design concepts
• Ensure all design work follows a user-centered approach and maintains consistency across the product ecosystem
• Create dynamic Rive animations that enhance the user experience in meaningful ways

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Communication Design, Design, or a related field
• Expert-level proficiency in Sketch and Figma
• Demonstrated experience supporting multiple product launches with a portfolio showcasing outstanding interface design work
• Deep familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material Design, staying current with evolving design trends and standards
• Experience creating Rive animations for mobile applications
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Business fluent written and spoken English required
• Must be based in Germany and authorized to work in the country
