Elektroplaner (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential greentech organization in Berlin seeking an Electrical Planner to lead electrotechnical planning for heat pump installations—entirely from the office, based on documentation and photos.

You will assess existing electrical systems, define scope of work for upgrades, and create the foundation for quotations and installations. No on-site construction work, no assembly, no on-call duty. Your responsibilities include:

• Evaluating meter installations and distribution boards using photo documentation and existing records, applying DIN VDE-AR-N 4100, DIN VDE 0100, and grid operator technical connection requirements
• Distinguishing between true disqualifying issues and upgradeable items—not every deviation requires complete replacement
• Defining required upgrade scope including estimates for materials and labor to support quotations and scheduling
• Planning meter panel layouts, main switches, junction boxes, surge protection, control systems per §14a EnWG, cable sizing, RCD selection and selectivity for single-family and multi-family buildings
• Coordinating technical clarifications with customer success, sales, and project management teams
• Converting recurring cases into standards, checklists, and planning templates for consistent, efficient processing

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship as Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Systems or equivalent; further training as Technician or Meister advantageous
• Practical experience with low-voltage installations, meter systems, and building connections
• Strong command of DIN VDE 0100, DIN VDE-AR-N 4100, and grid operator technical connection rules
• Excellent German language skills, written and spoken (minimum C1); English beneficial
