About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming how businesses connect to financial data across the UK and European markets. Our client is seeking a New Business Associate to join their London office and play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging high-potential prospects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their commercial career who is curious about financial technology, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to develop their sales skills alongside experienced Account Executives. You'll be responsible for generating qualified pipeline through strategic outreach, account mapping, and multi-channel engagement with some of the most innovative companies in the fintech space.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality meetings that convert into qualified opportunities for the sales team
• Conduct thorough account research and develop strategic outreach cadences tailored to prospect needs
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to build and execute comprehensive account plans
• Manage pipeline progression through CRM systems and internal tools, maintaining accurate records
• Support go-to-market strategy development for UK and EU prospects
• Partner with Marketing to design and execute outbound campaigns
• Participate in team initiatives including onboarding new hires and operational improvement projects
• Nurture early-stage and dormant opportunities to maximize pipeline potential

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technical concepts
• Demonstrated drive, resilience, and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Some experience in a client-facing or commercial role such as sales, customer success, partnerships, consulting, or equivalent
• Comfort working in a high-ownership, high-expectation environment with ambitious targets
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced peers
• Genuine curiosity about fintech, APIs, and financial infrastructure

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in outbound sales development or business development roles
• Background working with complex technical products in client-facing, target-oriented positions
