About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization based in London. They're building consumer investment products at scale and entering an exciting growth phase following a strategic partnership with an established industry leader. We're seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their mobile engineering team and help shape the future of their platform.
This is a hybrid role based in London, with in-office collaboration Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, and focused remote time on Wednesday and Friday.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of new features while improving and maintaining a production iOS application used by thousands daily
- Own features end-to-end, collaborating with backend, design, product, and QE teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Set and maintain high standards for code quality through hands-on development, code reviews, and effective testing
- Resolve complex technical issues, address bottlenecks, and systematically reduce technical debt
- Drive continuous improvements in engineering standards and development practices
- Mentor and support junior engineers on design, implementation, and best practices
- Participate in a support rotation to understand and resolve customer issues, including direct communication when needed
- Guide priorities around platform issues, technical debt, patterns, and architecture decisions
What We're Looking For
- Typically 6+ years of experience building production-grade mobile applications
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical decisions and deliver complex features independently
- Deep understanding of iOS architecture and common design patterns
- Strong hands-on experience with Swift, dependency injection frameworks, and SwiftUI
- Solid understanding of GraphQL and integrating with backend services
- Experience with Combine, Swift Concurrency, or RxSwift
- Familiarity with git and collaborative development workflows
- Understanding of CI/CD and build tooling such as CircleCI
- Proven experience mentoring and developing more junior engineers
- Authorized to work in the UK

Pay
The client is offering a base salary range of £75,000–£115,000 plus bonus, depending on experience. Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process.
