Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential SaaS organization that builds advanced technology for the advertising sector. They are seeking a Head of Legal to lead legal operations across client and vendor contracting, AI regulatory compliance, and product counsel. This is a remote position based in the United Kingdom.

This role is critical as our client navigates the rapidly evolving generative AI regulatory landscape while scaling their enterprise business. You will act as the strategic legal partner to product, commercial, and leadership teams—ensuring contracts align with business objectives, new features launch with appropriate legal safeguards, and the organization maintains its position as a trusted leader in compliance and AI best practices.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage client contracts, including redlining Master Service Agreements and standard Terms & Conditions to balance business goals with risk management
• Oversee vendor agreements with AI technology providers, ensuring back-to-back alignment with client obligations
• Serve as embedded legal counsel to product teams, reviewing new AI-powered features for legal and regulatory risk before launch and advising on design decisions in real time
• Monitor the evolving AI and data regulatory environment (EU AI Act, GDPR, sector-specific guidance) and proactively translate regulatory changes into practical product and commercial strategy
• Develop, maintain, and continuously update legal documentation including Terms & Conditions, Data Processing Agreements, and Privacy Policies to keep pace with technological advancements
• Consult with client legal teams to clearly communicate and validate legal and technical safety protocols, building trust and facilitating compliance
• Create thought leadership content such as whitepapers and participate in speaking engagements on legal issues related to generative AI in marketing

What We're Looking For

• JD, LLB or equivalent law degree, with active membership in good standing of at least one state bar
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a commercial or corporate attorney, specifically within the AI space
• Proven track record negotiating complex contracts with clients and technology vendors
• Experience handling 8-figure deal value contracts with enterprise-scale clients
• Deep understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and intellectual property law
• Strong ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Previous experience drafting industry whitepapers or participating in speaking engagements is highly desirable
