We are representing a well-established organization in the Ammerland region with nearly a century of market presence. Our client operates in a sector where product quality and customer satisfaction are paramount, consistently achieving top rankings in independent product comparisons. As the company continues to grow and modernize its operations, we are searching for an experienced IT Application Administrator to join their technology team at their main location in Westerstede.

This is a permanent position working directly with our client's IT department, supporting critical business applications and ensuring smooth operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Operate and monitor business applications, including inventory management and ticketing systems
• Execute, monitor, and automate application-related tasks
• Optimize applications and improve system performance
• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support, analyzing and resolving application issues
• Analyze and address user difficulties with applications
• Install and migrate applications, including databases and web services
• Administer and monitor Oracle databases
• Develop database queries using SQL and PL/SQL
• Support IT projects as needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Professional training in IT or equivalent demonstrated knowledge
• Strong software application skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Database experience (Oracle experience is desirable)
• Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous but not required

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience and qualifications.
