Finance Lead (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential climate technology organization based in München that is scaling breakthrough solutions in the renewable energy sector. We are seeking a Finance Lead to own the financial function end-to-end during a critical growth phase.

This is a fully onsite role in the München area for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, mission-driven environments where execution and results define success.

Responsibilities

• Own corporate finance operations including accounting oversight and financial planning
• Build and maintain financial models and corporate planning frameworks
• Gradually assume ownership of techno-economic modeling and project-level financial analysis
• Support equity fundraising processes and explore debt financing opportunities
• Manage investor relations alongside senior leadership
• Drive strategic and project-related financial initiatives as the organization scales
• Work closely with C-level executives on business-critical financial decisions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• STEM background with finance experience, or business degree with technical industry exposure
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience; prior work in private equity, top-tier consulting, or high-growth startups strongly preferred
• Bias for action—you prototype, test, and deliver while others plan
• Comfortable with high-intensity environments and extreme ownership
• Team-first mindset where results matter more than individual recognition
• Ability to solve problems independently without extensive oversight
• Excellence as your baseline standard
• Fluency in English; German language skills are beneficial

Valued additional experience:

• Strategic thinking at the intersection of finance and business development
• Commercial understanding of scaling deep technology companies
• Experience with renewable energy or climate tech business models
