Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential media organization seeking a Chief Financial Officer based in London. In this role, you will take full ownership of financial operations and strategic planning for a growing business. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Preparing annual budgets for effective financial planning
- Providing weekly updates on cash flow
- Conducting monthly P&L and cash updates for comprehensive financial insights
- Evaluating and implementing cost optimization programs
- Reviewing intercompany and external loans to ensure optimal financial health
- Leading working capital responsibilities
- Managing human resources financial planning responsibilities
- Offering support to sales and operations teams
- Reporting to investors on a monthly basis and participating in board meetings
What We're Looking For
Our talent team is seeking a candidate with exceptional drive and financial acumen. The ideal professional will bring:
- An accounting background with more than two years of experience from a Big Four firm
- Previous experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or Finance Director from a small or medium-sized business
- A UK working permit
- Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and ownership mentality
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Media and conferences industry background preferred but not mandatory
