Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology client that is building next-generation customer engagement platforms. They are seeking an exceptional Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) in London to identify market opportunities, build new business verticals from the ground up, and lead them to profitability.

This is not a traditional role. You will operate as an internal founder—validating problems, defining strategy, assembling teams, and launching products with the backing of established infrastructure, funding, and executive support.

Responsibilities

• Identify and validate high-potential business opportunities that can become new product lines or revenue streams
• Conduct customer research and direct conversations to uncover unmet needs
• Define product vision, strategy, and go-to-market execution plans
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and AI teams to build and launch rapidly
• Recruit and lead your own cross-functional team as the venture scales
• Own growth metrics, product adoption, customer success, and P&L performance
• Make data-driven decisions and iterate quickly based on customer feedback
• Present progress and strategic recommendations directly to executive leadership
• Build a business unit that could operate as a standalone division or independent company

• Comfortable creating structure and strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams
• Proven ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams
• Highly analytical with strong execution capabilities and attention to detail
• Customer-obsessed approach to building products people love
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats across product, sales, marketing, and operations
• AI-native mindset and excitement about building with emerging AI technologies
• Previous startup experience as a founder, early employee, product leader, operator, or investor is highly valued but not required

Success in this role means: Within 12–24 months, you will have built and launched a new business vertical, hired and led your own team, achieved product-market fit, generated meaningful recurring revenue, and established yourself as the long-term leader of your venture.
