Technical Product Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential construction technology client in Germany seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead their integrations strategy. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between customers, engineers, and platform architecture—transforming real-world integration requirements into a roadmap that positions our client as essential infrastructure within the construction ecosystem.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing position within the Product team. You'll shape how a growing SaaS platform connects to the third-party systems construction companies depend on, including estimating and ERP tools. You'll spend significant time on-site with customers across Germany, understanding their systems and data flows, then translating those insights into actionable product development.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrations product area end-to-end, including REST API strategy and third-party system connectors
• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout Germany to support implementation, setup, and requirements gathering
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with customers to understand their systems, workflows, and integration constraints
• Prioritize integration requirements based on impact, effort, and platform strategy alignment
• Create clear, well-scoped technical tickets that engineering teams can execute efficiently
• Validate API functionality and developer experience by testing endpoints and reviewing documentation
• Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to minimize integration friction
• Apply platform thinking to every integration decision, building toward a connected ecosystem approach

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, platform, or developer-facing products
• Hands-on experience with APIs and integrations—you understand REST API fundamentals, can interpret API documentation, and are comfortable validating endpoints using tools like Postman
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to elicit requirements, ask probing questions, and build trust in technical conversations
• Proven ability to translate complex, real-world integration needs into prioritized, actionable engineering work
• Analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Fluent German (required for direct customer engagement with German construction companies) and fluent English
• Willingness to travel regularly within Germany for customer meetings
• Routine use of AI tools (LLM assistants, MCPs, no-code prototyping) in daily workflows

Bonus qualifications:

• Experience with construction tech, ERP, or estimating systems (e.g., RIB iTWO, SAP, Nevaris)
• Background as a solutions engineer, integration engineer, or technical consultant
